This ride is starting off from the Peace Gardens through the War Memorial Park, down to Eastrop Park, out along Churchill Way picking up the cycle path to the Leisure park before looping back round via Houndmills to come back out at the top of the train station stopping off at Waitrose before heading back into the War Memorial Park.
It is a leisurely easy cycle ride around Basingstoke for all ages
Most of the route is traffic free but the paths are covered in leaves and quite slippery - use any bike type so long as it's in working order - make sure your tyres are well inflated
We will stop at Waitrose for coffee, cake and a chat
Please wear a helmet. • Bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump (plus puncture repair kit if you have one). • Also, bring water, a lock and money for a drink after • Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather (that won’t get caught in your chain etc) layers are good for the colder weather.
