Father Brown is a detective series set in and around Blockley in the 1950s.

We come to The Pound where a murder took place in the episode 'Daughter's of Jerusalem.' Then we cycle along through Hinchwick and come to our first hill which category 4, Spring Hill. We cycle onto Chipping Campden and Broad Campden. We pass Northwick Estate (where Churchill stayed- the real Churchill!) and then onto Blockley which has seen many murders for this TV series- too many to list. We will head up to the cafe and then walk down through the church which will seem familiar if you have watched this series. Then we brace ourselves for the next climb, Blockley hill (Category 4). We head past Sezincote House which has also seen a murder. The pub in Longborough is another set for the programme. Then back to Condicote (The Cotswold Food store can be an alternative stopping place).
Father Brown and his friends are excellent at solving all these cases.

This is a circular route with two challenging hills. Strava categorises them as a 4.

Mostly quiet country lanes but with a small part on the B4081, B4479 and a very short stretch on the A44

Two possible stops. Blockley Community Cafe or The Cotswold Food Store.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube.
