FBC to Riseley Tea Rooms (Adult Ride)

This is a Steady Ride aimed at people who are nervous about cycling on the roads or are returning to cycling and want to build up their mileage.

Starting from the FBC, we'll take cycle paths and quiet roads to the Riseley Tea Rooms for coffee and cake, before returning to our start point.

Free parking is available.

Please ensure your bike is in good working order, with tyres pumped and brakes & gears working.

Please ware a cycling helmet.

This is a no drop ride and we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider.

Wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions - check before leaving.

Bring money for the café stop, water, a bike lock, spare inner tube and bike pump.

Route:
Starting at the FBC, we’ll use the Green ways and shared paths through Aborfield. Crossing Biggs Lane to Baird Road then taking the Observer Way shared path to turn left on to Swallowfield Road. Turn Right onto Church Road then LEFT onto Part Lane. Follow Part Lane to Riseley Village, turning RIGHT onto Odiham Road to our tea stop at Riseley Village Tea Rooms.
Our return will have us following Odiham Road, turning RIGHT back onto Part Land to the junction with School Road. Turing RIGHT on School Road to Part Lane and the Ford Lane. Turn LEFT to Well House Lane and through Bramshill Plantation to New Mill Ford. From here we follow New Mill Road to Park Lane. Turn RIGHT onto Nine Mile Ride and LEFT into California Country Park. Back to the Greenway and follow this around to the FBC.
