Lots of pretty country lanes and a couple of off-road byways on this route to the popular cafe at Fernygrove Farm, which has great views and a good choice of drinks, cakes and savouries. We will be going via Binfield and Moss End and coming back through Quelm Park, then walking our bikes across the bridge to Jennetts Park, through the grounds of Easthampstead Park Hotel and back to Montague Park. If anyone would like to start at St. Sebastian's Hall (RG40 3BA) I can meet you there ready to leave at 9.10 (Please message me on Let's Ride if you want to meet there.)

Mostly tarmac surfaces or bridleways which are dry, so suitable for any type of bike. There are 3 hills but they are not particularly steep climbs and we won't be riding too fast.

You must please wear a cycle helmet and bring a bottle of water, money or card for payment at the cafe and a bike lock if you have one.

Please check your bike before coming out - especially tyres inflated correctly, both brakes working and oil on your chain. Please bring a spare inner tube and anything else you may need for repairs en route.

We never leave anyone behind
