RG40 4ES

A varied route of 24 miles, including country lanes, cycleways and the odd bridleway (if not too muddy!) From the FBC centre, we will go via Evendons Lane/Ludgrove and up through Montague Park and Oak Avenue. We'll then ride to Binfield (hopefully using Monk's Alley if not too muddy now) and on lanes over to Hawthorn Hill, where our coffee stop (after 12 miles) will be at the lovely Fernygrove Farm shop with great views and good choice of cakes! Our return journey will be through Warfield, then a different route through some Bracknell cycleways to Crowthorne, then back via Buckler's Park, over the golf course and up Heath Ride.

Some sections on unmade roads/tracks so road bikes with very skinny tyres may not be suitable (any other type of bike is fine.) You must please wear a cycle helmet and bring a bottle of water, a spare inner tube, pump to fit your own tyres, and a bike lock if you have one. For the coffee stop, please bring cash or card for drink payment.

To avoid unnecessary delays, please check the night before that your tyres are correctly inflated, brakes working, and chain oiled.

We never leave anyone behind
