FLAB Social Ride Coalville - Venture out in to South Derbyshire

This ride starts out from the Council office car park in Coalville and takes us out via Whitwick, Thringstone, and Osgathorpe before reaching the Cloud Trail. Following the Cloud Trail, we head into south Derbyshire to visit the fantastic Tea Rooms at Melbourne Hall. After a refuel, we head out on our return journey via Wilson, Breedon on the Hill (with a stop at the church to admire the views), Worthington, and Swannington before arriving at our starting point.

This route takes us from the heart of Coalville through the countryside to Melbourne before returning to Coalville.

99% of the route will be on well surfaced roads with a very short amount on a small bridleway to link us from tarmac to the Cloud Trail.

We will be stopping at Melbourne Hall tea rooms for a mid ride break and Breedon on the Hill church to admire the views.
