Starting from - Meet at the entrance to the main car park for Elvaston Castle. You will need change to pay for parking if you arrive by car. There are toilets in the car park. Café either at the end (cash only), or possibly en route depending on rider numbers. Usually an ice cream van in the car park as well. DE72 3EN

Fairly easy road ride, mostly flat with a couple of short hills to get you puffing gently. Sociable pace around 12mph, but no one will be left behind. Mainly quiet lanes with a couple of short busier sections. Ideal for those interested in getting out and riding with other people and wanting to build a bit of confidence to get out riding, but who aren't keen on hilly rides. Or fast rides.
