FLAB Social Rides Birmingham West

A gentle meander through some lovely Worcestershire countryside down to a pretty village. We will be riding rural roads with some traffic. Nothing too taxing, but there is a fun climb towards the end which will earn you extra cake points!!

Gentle 10-12 mph route down to Chaddesley Corbett and back. FLAB Social Rides are for all-comers. We will travel at the speed of the slowest rider in the group - the emphasis is on social riding; building confidence and camaraderie for all riders.

This is a road route suitable for road or hybrid bike with road tyres (ideally).

Planning a stop at the cafe in Chaddesley Corbett for a refuel before the return leg.

Helmets are required, spare inner tube and any other tools you think kit you think useful), maybe a cafe bike lock. £2.50 for the car park if you are bringing your car to the start destination. Pocket money for cake and coffee

We want to encourage more people to get onto their bikes and out into the fresh air, to get happier, fitter and healthier. We also want to help the FLAB community to make contact with each other and go cycling together. AND we want to encourage more people to cycle together socially. With distances from 15 miles and a leisurely pace, we will have a ride for you! 1. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider 2. No-one gets left behind! 3. There will be a stop for coffee & cake somewhere along the way or a beer after the ride!
