So today we have a road ride that will take us from Markeaton Park to Sudbury hall. This will be an all road ride and most of it is lovely country lanes, theres not too many lumps and bumps on this one and the scenery is beautiful. The only busy part is at the beginning and the end of the ride.
So we will start at Munday arms car park at Markaeton and make our way to Ashbourne road, this stretch of the ride is a busy road so please take care. We will make our way to Sutton on the hill, Church Broughton before finally hitting Sudbury Hall. There is a very busy roundabout just before Sudbury so you will have to take care and make sure we are all safe and together. The cafe here called Sweet Little Cafe and they are a cyclist friendly cafe so we will be in safe hands.
After a short coffee and cake stop we will head back the same way but after Church Broughton we will head towards Longford onto Long lane, this will take us back to Kirk Langley and back onto Ashbourne Road before hitting the car park again at Markaeton.
Please make sure you have everything necessary to change a tyre, in case of punctures and money for the cafe is essential. Make sure you are dressed for the weather.
We never leave anyone behind and will always regroup as and when necessary.
