Heading west out of the Historic Durham city this is a ride of two halves. The first 12 miles will be on road mostly quiet country roads and it is here we have the hills to test us at Sacriston and Iverston. Once out of Iverston we join the Lanchester Valley Walkway for a gentle return into Durham City.
