Meet in the car park of the co-op supermarket pickering , parking money is required . theres plenty of car parks if full
we will then take the road out of pickering towards newbridge only road section then we sweep off using bridlepaths towards levisham. Climbing out of levisham ( no good if you eat too much ) we take a brief break before climbing further to enter the moor top above hole of horcum sweeping round to saltersgill if lucky theres often an ice cream van . We then cross into dalby forest
leaving the forest we follow ellerburn path into thorton le dale the follow the path at side of road back into pickering

This ride takes some breath taking views of the north yorkshire moors and if lucky will see the steam trains at levisham

This is 90% off road and would suggest a mtb but doable on a gravel but will be extra challenging at times

Plenty of stops on this ride and prepare to be out all day, first stop will be at levisham station where the little hut should be open . another stop at either dalby forest / thorton le dale weather dependant

Helmets , spare tube , water all nessary and lunch pennies for the cafe / pub

We never leave anyone behind
