Meeting in George Lane car park at 9.30 so we can start the ride at 10.00. We ride to the end of George Lane and then proceed along the A4 to Chopping Knife Lane. It doesn't take long to leave Marlborough behind and we are on to single track tarmac road leading to Stitchcombe Mill. We cross the road here and join Kings Ride which runs parallel to the meanders of the River Kennet for a total of 4 miles, where we turn round and retrace our steps back to Marlborough. Heading to the new cinema, which I discovered is a great place to stop for coffee
