DG8 6EH

This is a beginner/novice friendly non-complicated ride designed for those who are just starting out cycling but not confident enough to go out on their own and/or those seeking confidence and practice getting back into the saddle.
The route takes us in a loop from Newton Stewart through Macharmore and Blackcraig on a mixture of cycle paths and quiet back roads with opportunities to practice gear changing, signalling, riding in pairs and reaching for your water bottle to take that all-important drink whilst continuing to cycle. There is a short minor ascent and descent along the way to practice getting into the right gear and gradually building up your strength
