Due to popular demand, we're doing another last ride for the season...!

From Heatherslaw we head to Ford Bridge and along to the A697 at Doctor's Lodge where we cross to start the long climb up Flodden Hill.
Near the top at Branxtonmoor we then turn left and climb even higher up Milfield Hill before taking a well earned breather at the summit.
It's all downhill from here (apart from the uphill bits) to Milfield and then Redscar and Kimmerston.
From here it's back home Heatherslaw.

We'll stop whenever we need to, usually at the top of hills, so we can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Ford & Etal estate and surrounding area.

Helmets are always advisable.

Please check the weather forecast and bring suitable clothing.

Carrying a spare inner tube and some basic repair tools is also a good idea.

Please also check your bike the day before the ride, ensuring that all the bits that are supposed to spin do so freely and all the bits that aren't meant to move don't. Also check your tyres are full of air.

Lights and hi vis clothing are required for these evening rides.
