At last! A flat ride (apart from the hilly bits).
We leave Etal and head to Duddo Hill and Grindon before we head east to Felkington, we then turn north again before turning off to Ancroft.
From there we keep heading east though New Haggerston Farm before turning south to Lowick.
At Lowickmmill we head west through Bowsden and past Gatherick Farm for the brilliant downhill bit back to Etal.

This is an easy road ride. Great for any fitness level.
We'll be on mostly well-paved surfaces and roads.

We'll stop whenever we need to, usually at the top of hills, so we can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Ford & Etal estate and surrounding area.

Helmets are always advisable.
Please check the weather forecast and bring suitable clothing.
Carrying a spare inner tube and some basic repair tools is also a good idea.
Please also check your bike the day before the ride, ensuring that all the bits that are supposed to spin do so freely and all the bits that aren't meant to move don't.
Also check that both your tyres are full of air.
