A short 6.2 mile ride on quiet country lanes starting from Fradley Junction to Alrewas for those wishing to gain confidence in road cycling and riding with a group.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A short taster ride for those who may be wanting to start or get back into cycling but need help with the confidence and motivation to achieve this. The ride is to assist with being confident with riding with other people or groups and feeling safe whilst riding on roads.

The route inevitably follows some main roads for a short time but we will mostly be on quiet back lanes and country roads. Any type of bike will be suitable for this short ride including road, mountain, gravel, hybrid or e bikes.

Although the ride is just over 6 miles long we will stop if required.

Helmets should be worn. According to the guidelines issued by British Cycling riders must be self-sufficient, bringing tools, a puncture repair kit, and a spare innertube so punctures can be repaired. Money for parking, refreshments and water should be carried.

We never leave anyone behind
