Friday at 4 - Stevenage short ride

We use a variety of routes making the most of the Stevenage cycleways.

If you do not have a bike of your own, it may be possible to hire one for a cost of £5 from the Stevenage Cycling Hub. It is essential that you book this in advance by contacting [email protected] at least 48hrs before the ride.

These rides are a great way to get out and about cycling in Stevenage. We will use the extensive cycleway network - and find the hidden ponds, green spaces and woodlands that are tucked away across the town.

We will complete a 6-mile circuit using traffic free paths and quiet link roads.

There is no planned stop but we do not rush.

Bring a drink and snack if you wish and an extra layer or waterproof clothing according to the forecast.

These rides are perfect for beginners and those returning to cycling. The route is always adapted to suit participants. More experienced cyclists can enjoy a sociable ride with lots of time to chat and just enjoy being out on our bikes!
