Starting from - We meet at Southwold’s iconic Pier. Here you will find free parking on North Parade & Pier Avenue, together with a paid Council car park towards the left of pier. There are also toilets and nearby cafes.

Please wear a helmet and bring a roadworthy, road or hybrid bike. I do an ABC (air, brake, chain) check, I also do bring a spare inner tube that fits my bike (but not all), and a small pump, a drink and a snack. Or money for cafe. Please check the weather forecast and wear suitable clothing, the brighter the better!

Starting at the front of The Pier in Southwold. We meet up where the is free & paid parking, toilets & refreshments. Our route takes us out of Southwold via Reydon towards Wangford. We cross the A12 heading near Frostenden, Uggeshall & Westhall. Where we loop down towards Halesworth. Here we will visit the Black dog cafe for both indoor & outside seating. For a well earned drink & snack if you wish. We return home through the park, where toilets are available. Our route home takes us towards Weneston, Blyford and Wangford. Then back to The Pier.

The roads are fairly quiet roads and lanes until we reach Halesworth.

The black dog cafe has a huge selection of drinks and pastries.

Helmets are a must please. A roadworthy bike.. Water & a snack is always useful.. please check the weather and wear suitable clothing ( the brighter the better). I use lights and bring a spare inner which fits my bike size. Some cash for cafe depending on what you might order.

We never leave anyone behind
