Fundementals of Mountain Biking - Tracks and trails around LLyn Brenig and Alwen

**** This Breeze bike ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, I also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate. ****

Come and celebrate International Womens Day on this winters off road ride exploring the tracks and trails around LLyn Brenig and Alwen Reservoir. The ride will start and end at the Brenig visitors centre where there are toilets and cafe . From here we will ride on bike trails and forest tracks acros the Brenig Dam and over to the dam at Alwen Reservoir , crossing the dam we will pick up various forest tracks, lanes and bridleways then return back over the dam and along the purple route back to Brenig.

The route includes some short none technical single track, forest fire roads, bridleways, some of whcih are wet muddy and stoney and quiet lanes. There are a couple of hills which can be walked if necessary. The ride is suitable for women new to mountain biking (but with some biking experience) and bikes can be provided if required (please message me)
Helmets gloves and warm clothing should be worn . glasses are advised . You might want to bring a drink and snack but we can get a drink at the cafe if we return on time
