This ride will give you lots of opportunities to think about the best way to get your kids around Plymouth using roads and paths you think will suit them. We go past at least 4 play parks and a swimming pool, not to mention, lots of toilets! Gentle ride using southwest coastal path from the Narnia lamppost at Freedom park (Mount Gould/Lipson), whizzing downhill to the Barbican, (passing the new bike café), along the hoe, past West Hoe play park, round to Devil's Point café, back along the cycle path (inc. new bit) round to the free swimming pool at Mount Wise, over to Devonport Park for coffee (play on swings optional!). Back via Victoria play park, up the new piece of cycle path onto North Road West, under the roundabout at the University then either up North Road East or zig-zag past the library, past Mount Street Primary School and back up to Freedom Park. Lots of comfort break opportunities on the way. Speed - about 5-7mph! If you think you'll forget the route, download the tracker app to your phone. It even allows you to retrace your route using moving images from google maps. Watch as you ride straight through buildings!
