The route is undulating and goes through Old Basing then crosses the A30 before continuing back via Crabtree Plantation, Black Dam ponds and Memorial park. We’ll have a coffee stop near the end at the Potting Shed ( on Basing View). Approx 10 miles on a mixture of side roads, cycle paths and parks (there is a gravel path through Crabtree park).
You will need-
- LIGHTS ( which work / are charged)
- A bike with gears and brakes which work.
- Make sure your tyres are well inflated/ firm
- Spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump (in case of puncture)
- Clothing appropriate for the weather
