Gentle ride to Shawford and Twyford

We will meet the entrance to Wolvesley Palace then head along the cycle path and viaduct way. Cycling to Compton, through Shawford and Twyford before heading back to Winchester.

There are a couple of hills, and a couple of short stretches of busier road, but we will ride safely as a group, and rest if we need to. We will be cycling at an easy pace, and nobody will be left behind.

There’s an option to stop at the Handlebar cafe towards the end of the ride if the group wishes.

Please also bring:
- Inner tube/ pump/ tyre levers for puncture repair (don't worry about getting a puncture, we can help)
- A drink
- Layers to suit the weather
- Lights in case the light is getting low as we return
