About the route
Starting point
NE11 9RQ The park has 2 car parks. The meeting place is closest to the smaller car park. follow the small path up and the football pavilion will be on the left hand side.
We meet at the football pavilion in Watergate Park, behind Emmanuel College.
We have bikes and helmets available for use, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
The terrain is made up of muddy trails at this time of the year, so mountain bike/off road tyres would be recommended.
We will make our way around the park, the trails are a combination of undulating and flat areas. We will take in the lovely views around the lake and from the top of the park.
