Get back into cycling! Crediton to Uton circular

A gentle ride, ideal for beginners or to get back into the saddle after the winter! Don’t worry if you have never cycled with a trailer before! We’ll be cycling from a Crediton to the hamlet of Uton along quiet lanes and then back to Crediton. Opportunity for a park stop at the end :).

NB all trailers are double trailers so you can bring up to two preschoolers :)

This is a short route, ideal for anyone new or who is getting back into the saddle after the winter" We'll pass through the village of Uton and then loop back through Crediton. Free parking is available adjacent next to the shipping container (where we meet) on Joseph Locke Way. It is approximately a 4 minute walk from Crediton train station and the bus stops outside the surgery (10 seconds walk away!).

We'll be travelling along quiet country roads for most of the ride and a short section through Crediton towards the end.

We'll stop briefly in Uton for a rest and if riders want, a longer stop at Crediton Park towards the end of the ride so the children can have a run around and socialise.

Please bring: Helmets for you/ your children if you have them. We have a small number we can lend out A light raincoat/ waterproofs Layers for you and your children Water/ drinks Snacks We provide bikes, trailers and hi-viz jackets for adults
