Glasbury and Ffynnon Gynydd Cycle Loop

Using quiet country lanes, we’ll cycle steadily up to the beautifully exposed Ffynnon Gynydd Common. From here it’s quiet, undulating lanes, some gravelly sections to look out for, with one steep downhill to Boughrood. Crossing over the River Wye, we’ll continue to Thee Cocks and return to the scout hut in Glasbury,.

If you are free and fancy getting out on your bike for some fresh air, fun and non-competitive exercise, join us on a fabulous evening “Breeze” (women only) bicycle ride starting and finishing in Glasbury.

This route is mainly undulating, with some challenging climbs thrown in to test and build on your fitness.

Plenty of opportunity to stop en-route to catch your breath and have a drink and enjoy the views. If anyone would like to, we could visit one of the nearby pubs/cafe at the end of the ride.

Please bring a well-maintained bicycle, wear a helmet, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather. Remember to carry a drink, a spare tube, puncture repair kit, lock and pump if you have them and bring some money for refreshments. We intend to finish the ride before it gets dark but please bring some lights if you have them. A face covering and some hand sanitiser could be useful.
