You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. A 30 mile circular ride which escapes the urban confines of Glasgow via the green corridor of Pollok Country Park. The ride heads out into the hills to take in the lochs and reservoirs to the south of the city, before returning back to the start at Pollok Park. Points of interest include Pollok House and the Burrell Collection Museum at the start, and the scenic beauty of the reservoirs and lochs of East Renfrewshire. The Neilston café will give you the chance to fuel-up for the hills that you'll encounter en-route.
