We will meet in the public car park adjacent to Stewart and Smart garage in Stirling Road Milnathort. We will head north out of the village via Arlary before turning towards Glenfarg. From the village centre, we will follow the road through Duncrievie and Drunzie. This is a quiet, delightful road, bordered by hedge rows and farmland with pretty views to the Lomond Hills. Our return to Milnathort village will be along the old historic Perth Road.

A trip to the north of Kinross-shire to explore the Glenfarg Cycling Network.

We will be mainly riding on quiet country roads and lanes with a short section along the B996. The roads are all tarmac and our scenic and rural.

As this is an evening ride, no cafe stop as planned. Riders should bring along their own drinks and snacks and we will stop for participants to have their own refreshments as needed.

Participants are recommended to wear helmets and eye protection as there are still quite a few insects around this time of year. Bicycles should be well maintained with tyres pumped up. Riders should have a spare inner tube and any tools that are specific to their bike. Please bring a waterproof jacket and extra layers are helpful at this time of year when the weather can be changeable and the temperature can be cool. As the sun is going down a little earlier now, please have some lights on the front and back of your bike for use on the return journey to Milnathort. Bright colours and high viz clothing is helpful if you have this.

We never leave anyone behind
