Golden Acre Car Park off Otley Road, LS16

Steady ride from Golden Acre Car Park, Short walk to Bridle Path taking right path to nature reserve, (Pauls Pond) to right of under pass, then along Leeds Country Way, in the wooded are when you come to the T junction with the embankment turn right and follow the route to the farm gates, go through the gate follow the bridle path to next set of gates (farmers houses and driveways), go through these to get to get to the Lane, follow this through to Cookridge, then turn right onto Otley Old Road. We proceed out of Cookridge to the countryside, turning left onto Otley Old Road and go passed the Caring for Life centre, gather momentum for going up the hill passing None go by farm food shop and the garden centre. We will take a quick rest at the top of the hill, then there's a bit of a down hill and another hill, before we get to the traffic lights, (with Harrogate Road), straight on here down East Chevin Road, and up yet another hill, keep going straight on, after the turn off for the Chevin Hotel (left side) we will be looking for n opportunity to turn right onto Old Lane. This road leads back to Harrogate Road. We get off to walk across the road and straight into the cycle pathway, and down the road to Bramhope. At the cross roads straight on through the village until you get to the T Junction, turn right here and proceed along Otley Road, turning left at th roundabout. Go along Kings Road to the end, turn left then right onto Balckhill Lane. Continue to the end, then turn left onto Eccup Road. Up the hill then first right, this cuts down to Eccup Moor Road. Once the, take the sharp right onto the Lane and up the hlll. When you beg to the T Junction turn right onto Arthington Lane. Continue up the hill and turn left onto Kings Road. Ontinue to roundabout and turn left onto Ptey Road. Once further along road loom out for the entrance to Golden Acre Park, sign posted disabled parking and café.. , turn left and finish at Golden Acre Café, for a well earned drink and cake. not too many hills on this one, but it takes in some beautiful countryside!
