Golden Acre Through Cookridge, Bramhope and Eccup

Steady, but hilly ( mainly 2 long ones) ride from Golden Acre Car Park, Short walk to Bridle Path taking right path to nature reserve, (Pauls Pond) to right of under pass, then along Leeds Country Way, in the wooded are when you come to the T junction with the embankment turn right and follow the route to the farm gates, go through the gate follow the bridle path to next set of gates (farmers houses and driveways), go through these to get to get to the Lane, follow this through to Cookridge, then turn Right onto Cookridge Lane and ride out into the countryside. Once round the bend, turn left onto Otley Road and go up the hill passing Caring for Life and Non go by farm. At the top of the hill you then dip down to the traffic lighters. (Harrogate Road) Straight on there to Go down towards the Chevin.
After the hill it levels off and just after the turning for the Chevin Hotel, take the right turn onto Old Lane. Continue along here to Harrogate Road, straight across onto the cycle path and dip down into Bramhope, a lovely down hill. Again straight on at junction and ride down through village to Otley Road, turn right. Carry on until the roundabout, turn left along Kings Road and up hill to Junction. Turn left onto Srthington Lane and then immediate right to cut through to Eccup Lane. Once there turn left up the hill until you reach the sharp right Junction turn right here to cut through to Eccup Moor Road. Once down to there turn right along Road until you come to King Lane, right here then right T Junction onto Arthington Lane. Up the road passing the rear entrance to Golden Acre and then left back onto Kings Road, then at roundabout left onto Otley Road and then left into the cafe entrance to Golden Acre Park, for a welcome end to ride.
