Graceful Green to Happy Cafe

Starting point

Starting from The Cage A , bike shop on Mannerberg Way in Scunthorpe. Plenty of parking is available. This is a graceful green ride our average speed at 12mph or less.
Please be at the start by 09:45 at the latest so that you are ready for the M check and ride briefing.
Please make sure that your tyres are pumped up and that you bike is in good working order . Please bring with you a bicycle pump that works on your bike , a spare inner tube and a puncture repair kit . It is strongly recommended that you wear a helmet . Don’t forget to bring money if you want to purchase any drinks or CAKE

Riding out from Cage A in Scunthorpe we head towards Normanby taking a left turn off towards Flixborough, we then head downhill towards Gunness and then over the Keadby bridge . We follow along the River Trent through Althorpe . We then turn off to head through Beltoft, Belton, Westgate and finally we end up at Sandtoft airfield where we will stop at the Happy Cafe .
We reverse the route and go back the same way as we came . This means that there is a steady uphill drag to Flixborough. Please don’t worry , as always no one gets left behind .
