Greater Manchester Ride Leaders Get Together

This is the first of our ride leader gatherings where you can catch up with old and new friends, swap ideas and tell us how it's going so far.
Come on this scenic route following the River Croal as it joins the River Irwell on its journey into Manchester. Passing through no less than five different country parks, which pay tribute to industrial reclamation on a grand scale, you'll gain a wealth of local knowledge along the way. First stop is Moses Gate Country Park to see the local residents; swans, geese and heron. Continuing along the Irwell you'll have a spin around Clifton Country Park. Look out for the wild deer before you descend into Prestwich Forest Park. The trail can get muddy in places so wider tyres are the better choice.
