If you are showing any coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, please stay at home. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to allow time for the necessary checks. This ride is an easy Graceful Greens - a little faster, now that you are feeling more confident, these rides will be at a steady pace average 9 –11mph. This is a reasonably flat route, on a mixture of highways (along to the Low Villages), turning down towards the Carrs, and along the byways along the Ancholme river. As there is a rougher section between the road stopping and before we get to the mixed use path, a hybrid or mountain bike would be ideal, but you could manage on a road bike if necessary. As with all Breeze rides, no participants will be left behind.

This will be a friendly, steady ride, which may be a good one for ladies looking to build confidence.

There is no café stop on this route, but we may choose to have a(n optional) café break at the end of the ride.

As with all our rides, I strongly recommend you bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, with the tools necessary to change them. This seems to be the best talisman to ensure you won't need them! You will also need to bring a drink (and snacks) for the ride, and money for the cafe. Of course, come dressed suitably for the conditions, with no flappy clothes or laces. Lycra is purely optional, helmets and gloves are strongly recommended. Please ensure you bring a face covering, and a small amount of hand gel for your personal use (eg in the event you require first aid).

We’re a friendly bunch, you’re welcome to come and meet us on Facebook Breeze Network - North Lincolnshire. We will always ride at the speed of the slowest rider and no rider will be left behind. If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.
