Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to allow time for the necessary checks. If you are showing any coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, please stay at home. This ride is suitable for anyone ready to progress from a Mellow Yellow to a Graceful Green which is slightly faster at 9-11 mph, but as always no-one will be left behind! The ride starts at the Brigg Bike Hub (behind The Angel) and follows the river Ancholme before heading through the sleepy villages of Cadney and Howsham. After descending the hill to North Kelsey Moor we turn left and meander through the villages of Ownby and Searby before the short rise up to Howsham where we stop at Claytons Corner café for a well-earned coffee break, then re-tracing the route back to Brigg.

The ride will be on country roads.

As with all our rides, I strongly recommend you bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, with the tools necessary to change them. This seems to be the best talisman to ensure you won't need them! You will also need to bring a drink (and snacks) for the ride, and money for the cafe. Of course, come dressed suitably for the conditions, with no flappy clothes or laces. Lycra is purely optional, helmets and gloves are strongly recommended. Please ensure you bring a face covering, and a small amount of hand gel for your personal use (eg in the event you require first aid).

We’re a friendly bunch, you’re welcome to come and meet us on Facebook Breeze Network - North Lincolnshire. We will always ride at the speed of the slowest rider and no rider will be left behind. If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.
