Greystoke

This route takes you from the historic village of Greystoke with its castle to the fell side hamlet of Mosedale and back. The 16 mile route includes some long but steady climbs and descents but the effort is rewarded with stunning views of nearby Blencathra and the northern Lake District fells. There is chance for some refreshments along the way and a great stop at the end for the quirky Greystoke Cycling Cafe. This route is definitely for anybody who wants to get the best views in the area without having to cycle too hard along the way!
