Another new route starting from Grove Ferry and ending up at the Algar Lodge Farm Shop and Cafe, near Betteshanger Park. This time we will cycle from Grove Ferry to Aylesham and Whitfield and then through Northbourne to the Cafe. From there we will head back through Eastry, Staple, Elmstone and Preston.

We will cycle through villages, farm land and glorious Kent countryside. It's a lovely route with a mix of country lanes and quieter roads. As we head down to Whitfield we will be gaining height, so expect a gentle incline with a few steeper climbs until we reach our Cafe stop, which is 20 miles into the ride. The route back to Grove Ferry after our refreshment stop is relatively flat.

Helmets are not compulsory but strongly recommended. Other things to carry with you: a drink, cash/card, tools and spare inner tube, pump and bike lock.

Don't forget to wear your new OB jersey.
