This ride has everything you need for an awesome morning on the mountain bike... open countryside, amazing views, gentle climbs (and a few short toughies) and amazing trails!

We will begin our ride following a gentle off-road climb that takes us along the base of the hills Dumgoyne and Earl's Seat, nice and easy going here as we take in the views. Once we reach Killearn we can enjoy a little bit of single-track before heading down to meet the West Highland Way. Optional coffee stop here, before following the WHW up to Mugdock (hello climbing legs) to meet some fantastic single-track through the trees before cruising down the forest road back down to Strathblane to finish.

Suitable for intermediate riders (riding blue trails confidently and ready to tackle some reds). We will be riding for about 2 hours (stopping for refreshments half way) so a decent amount of fitness is needed, but we will be taking it easy so don't worry about speed! Allow about 3 hrs for the ride in total.

Please bring water, a backpack/hip-pack with an extra layer, snack, spare inner tube for your tyre size and some money for a coffee (cake?) if restrictions allow. Any questions at all (no question is a stupid one) please message me!
