Guided ride - bikes, child bike seats, double (size) child bike trailers & helmets all included, £2 per family, BEGINNER suitable. Booking ESSENTIAL.

We will meet at Ride On, Haven Road.

From there, we will head up the right of the canal to Double Locks.

We will stop at Double Locks for a drink and for little ones to run around their park, before heading back towards the centre of Exeter along the other side of the river. The ride is suitable for those that haven't cycled in a long time. The route is flat and pretty with lots of wildlife to keep little ones entertained on route.

Bikes are included (they are the Trek brand - good brand of bike!). You have a choice of riding solo, or using a bike seat (included) or bike trailer (included) to carry little ones. We had previously said children need to be aged 10 months and over to join (due to this being recommended age for travelling in a trailer/bike seat unsupported), however we are trialling lowering this limit as long as the little one attends in their car seat which will be placed inside the trailer.

All welcome to attend - with or without children.
With children attending - a maximum two children over aged 10 months will fit in trailers or maximum of one child if under 10 months old.
Children riding in bike seats need to be over 10 months, under 5 years old.
There is no reason why you cannot tow a bike seat and a trailer if you wish!
