Guided Ride Cruise to Carats

This is a beginners ride - nice and flat along the seafront, and mainly on cycle paths (with just a stretch of quiet road - Basin Road - alongside Shoreham Harbour). When we get to Carats Café on Southwick beach you can get a takeaway coffee from the café, or have your own snack and drink - we will sit on the beach for a while before returning the way we came. Alternatively, we might prefer to have a cuppa at the Port Kitchen, another café just over the other side of Shoreham Locks if the weather's not ideal for sitting on the beach.

We have two ride leaders, Anthony and Alison, who will help manage the pace of the group and one will be at the front and the other at the back to help make sure no-one gets left behind.

We will start with introductions (so you know who else is in the group) then a quick bike check (to ensure everything is safe for yourself and the other riders).
