Guided Ride Gang - Sunday sessions

Starting from - Car park at rear of Graystones Café and Deli on St Peter’s Street, Duxford or on the road nearby. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end. Due to Covid precautions please bring your own PPE (mask, sterile gloves and alcohol hand gel – we are unable to share any PPE or cycling equipment with you) in case of an emergency. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks, CB22 4RP

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

This is part of a series of rides for both male and female riders. We will be cycling for around 2 hours a steady pace, there will be some hills included and the aim is to cover between 22 - 26 miles depending on the route. Subject to the availability of other leaders it may be possible to split into a faster paced group and a medium paced group. We will be mainly on minor roads and country lanes but we do have to cross a couple of busy roads. There will be short stops for water, and any refreshments you are carrying, along the route. We will grab a coffee and have a chat at the end of the ride in the Graystones garden
