Guided ride to Owslebury Buttom.

From Wolvesey Palace we will cycle along Kingsgate, 5 Bridges Road, Compton and Shawford to Twyford. We will then do the loop via Owslebury Buttom, back to Twyford and the river path. We will stop for coffee at The Handlebar Cafe.

There are a few hills and busy roads, but the ride is mostly on quiet country lanes. We will cycle at an easy pace and nobody will be left behind. The ride is suitable for cyclists, who has been on a couple of shorter rides, but would now like to add some hills onto their progression.

Things to bring: -Helmet -Lights for your bike -Suitable clothing for the weather and hi-vis if possible -A drink and snack if you think you need one -Money and lock for your bike when we stop for a tea/coffee -A spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump just in case of a puncture Do check that your bike is roadworthy and your tyres are pumped up!
