We will follow the Haddington Railway Path and cycle to the picnic area just outside Longniddry then we will turn right onto quieter roads to reach the B1377 and the entrance to Redhouse Garden Centre and Tea Room. We will then return via the same route. This route is used by cyclist and walkers alike. Some of it is part of sustran route 76 and is approximately 10 miles in total.

The Railway path is a hard packed surface, it does however get muddy on occasion, depending on recent weather, so is suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and hybrids.

This route will be at a nice leisurely pace with the opportunity to stop to take photos or breaks as and when required on the day by the Ride Leader. We will stop for refreshments at Redhouse Garden Centre and Tea Room before returning to Haddington.

Helmets must be worn, lights are advised, be bright and be seen! Please wear warm clothes, including gloves and possibly waterproofs dependant on the weather and bring a drink, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and pump if you have one and a means to get home incase of a breakdown. We will stop for coffee /tea so please bring a form of payment and a lock for your bike. First timers and ebikes are welcome and we never leave anyone behind!
