Hampstead Heath Link Ride

Starting from Castlehaven Community Centre join us on this short cycle route through quiet roads to the great Hampstead Heath.  Once at the Heath we will do a few laps before a short break and breather.  Along the way we pass the Kentish Town City Farm and Historic All Hallows Church.  A gentle return takes us back to Castlehaven Community Centre.  This ride is ideal for anybody who wants to improve their riding in a mix of road and traffic free environments. There will be an Urban Cycle Skills course running from 10am -12 midday prior to the start of the ride. The training takes place in the grounds of Castlehaven Community Centre. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
