Mountain bike trip to Hamsterley Forest, Durham. This will involve an initial 10-15 mins ride up the tarmac to reach Section 13. After a few rides downhill on this amazing shale route, we will then head down part of a red section through the forest to the bottom of the valley. Once at the bottom we'll play on the Loop (a blue skills circuit) until it is time to go home. This ride is suitable for those new to mountain biking as well as the more experienced. There is a fun selection of blue (moderate) and some red (more challenging) routes. However all the red sections have escape routes around the obstacles, so you can easily choose to avoid them if you want to. This mountain bike sessions promises to be a fun and challenging day, not to be missed. It is suitable for children 12+ but they must be accompanied by a riding adult. Mountain bikes must be used as smooth tires are likely to puncture. All riders must wear helmets during this ride. You can use your own bike. However bike hire and transport to the venue are available. Please book as group size is limited to 15. Led by qualified Trail Cycle Leader. £25 per person, including transport. £30 per person for transport and bike hire. If you want to book or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Wayne on Mobile: 078144 70 893, or via email: [email protected] See our website for further details. www.hightideadventure.co.uk
