This ride takes us to the Victorian Kensal Green cemetery, via Wembley and Willesden. We'll pass the Swaminarayan Temple and other landmarks. It will be on quiet roads and through parks, although there are a few moments in traffic and a couple of hills to climb, so it isn't a ride for complete beginners. We'll stop in Kensal Rise for lunch (several options) before reaching the cemetery for the 2pm guided tour http://www.kensalgreen.co.uk/tours/ There is a £7 donation per person to the Friends and the tour lasts two hours. Many famous and infamous people are buried there. (If you don't want to do the tour, you have the option of looking round independently and making your own way back.) Then we'll take the train back from Kensal Green to South Kenton, and cycle two miles back to Harrow. PS The 'paradise' quote is from G K Chesterton https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/48212/the-rolling-english-road
