Leaving Hartington, we’ll soon pass through the charming hamlet of Wetton. After a breathtaking descent with views of Ossoms Hill and Thor's Cave, we briefly join the picturesque Manifold Trail. We'll continue through the idyllic villages of Butterton and Grindon, descending into the stunning Manifold Valley. Three miles later, we’ll travel along quaint country lanes through Calton, enjoying a scenic descent with captivating views of Dovedale. Our lunch stop will be at the beautiful Ilam Hall, a National Trust property.

After lunch, we’ll climb with spectacular views of Thorpe Cloud, descend through Thorpe village, and arrive in picturesque Tissington and its elegant Tissington Hall. We’ll then join the Tissington Trail for seven miles, pass through Biggin, and enjoy a splendid descent back into Hartington.

65% Road (Mostly quiet country, rural lanes)
