Leaving Hartington, we travel through the lesser-known hamlets of Butterton and Grindon, before joining the Manifold Trail. Continuing on, we pass through Calton and later experience a spectacular descent into Ilam, with breathtaking views of Dovedale and beyond.

After a refreshing café stop, we climb into Thorpe, then reach Tissington, where we soon join the Tissington Trail. We ride along this trail for several miles, taking in the expansive and beautiful landscapes. Eventually, we leave the trail, pass through the hamlet of Biggin, and finally descend back into Hartington.
