Welwyn Garden City to Potters Bar

We will use the shared cycle/pedestrian paths from Welwyn Garden City to Hatfield, cycle through Hatfield Town Centre, through the University and Roe Green to Tollgate Road. We follow the road towards Welham Green turning off at Swanland Road / Warrengate Lane picking up Mutton Lane towards Potters Bar. We stop for a breather at the station before taking Darkes Lane / Church Road back towards Hawkshead Lane circling through Brookmans Park, Welham Green and Hatfield back to Welwyn Garden City.

Please wear helmets and cycle mitts are an idea for good drip. High visibility tops should be worn - be safe and be seen. Please fix cycle lights if you have them as it may be dim by the time the ride ends. It will be warm so a full water bottle is required. Spare inner tubes and levers and a multi-tool if you have them.
