Starting from the Havant Leisure Centre and finishing at Bidbury Mead, Bedhampton.
A leisurely flat route to the south end of Hayling Island to catch the ferry to Eastney.
We will cycle the full length of the Hayling Billy cycle path which is off road and has a light gravel surface. The cycle path will take us back onto the road towards the Sinah Warren and ferry pontoon.
The cost of the crossing is £3.50. Bikes are free.
After arriving in Eastney we will cycle a short distance to the Coffee Cup cafe and stop for a break. There is outside seating if the weather allows with views of the Solent, the Isle of Wight and Spinnaker Tower.
Our return journey heads to Milton Locks Nature Reserve to join the coastal cycle path which then links up with the Farlington Marshes cycle path before heading to Bidbury Mead.
Havant Leisure Centre has a pay and display car park and access to toilets.
Please ensure your bike is in good working order. Check your brakes are working correctly and tyres fully inflated!
Don't forget to bring a lock to secure your bike outside the cafe.
