Starting from - in front of the Dog and Duck pub in Linton High Street. For parking, the best place is the car park by Linton Health Centre on Coles Lane (the lower part is public) - it's a minute or two from the pub. Otherwise park on the streets, but please avoid taking the only parking spots outside local businesses. CB21 4HS

This is an undulating rural route through Cambridgeshire and Essex villages to the attractive village of Castle Hedingham. We head out via Toppesfield, Stambourne and the Bumpsteads, returning via Finchingfield.

We'll be on fairly quiet roads and some small lanes.

We'll stop for refreshments at The Good Place cafe in the village of Castle Hedingham.

A helmet is a must. Please also bring a puncture repair kit appropriate for your bike, layers including a waterproof, water, and a way of paying for your coffee and cake! Lights are also recommended.

All welcome. If you haven't ridden with the group before, please drop a note to introduce yourself to the ride organiser (Frances) and if possible provide an email address if you'd like the route gpx to be sent to you nearer the time.
