Heaton Park & Roch Valley Greenway

The ride starts by traveling through the park where we use the main service road passing Heaton Hall before venturing out of the park’s perimeter. We then take a circular route through the fringe of some of north Manchester’s farmland using quiet roads and cycle paths including the Roch Valley Greenway. On return to the park and after a short break, those who wish to, can complete a 4 mile jaunt exploring the parklands and stunning woodlands of this magnificent facility. The entire ride is on roads and well surfaced paths making it ideal for any type of bike.
